North West 200 Clerk of the Course Mervyn White, has been awarded an MBE in the New Year's Honours list.
Mervyn took over as clerk in 2001 after 30 year's involvement with the event.
He has also served the Motorcycle Union of Ireland for 25 years, and recently stepped down from his post as secretary.
