by isleofman.com 13th January 2007
Two of Manx Football's Division One title contenders clash at Glencrutchery Road this afternoon.

Leaders St. George's have opened up an eight point gap at the top and face Douglas rivals St. Mary's, who have several games in hand.

The other two teams in the Championship race are Laxey and Peel. Laxey travel to bottom side Marown while Railway Cup winners Peel entertain St. John's.

In Rugby, Douglas aim to maintain their push for promotion from Euromanx South Lancashire & Cheshire Division Three. They travel to Moore looking for a twelfth straight win.

In Division One, Vagabonds are at home to Anselmians.

And in Hockey, it's the second set of matches in the Men's and Women's Leagues.
