The top two in CFS Division Two continued their dominance of the division with fine away wins on Saturday.
Old Boys won 5-2 at cup minnows Colby, while leaders Corinthians were 3-1 victors at Castletown.
Callum Stewart, Sean Gavin, Lee Ford and Daren Hudgeon (two) all scored in the first half as Old Boys sealed the points by the interval, with Colby - missing a number of key players – scoring once in each half through Kevin Doyle and David Kneale.
Corinthians were given a test at Castletown but came home with the points after goals from David Bignall, Stuart Christian and Steven Glover.
John Howarth netted the Town reply.
Michael maintained their outside promotion push after goals from Michael Shimmin (two), Paul Corlett and Kieran Quinn sealed a 4-1 win at another of the cup minnows, Malew, while Pulrose consolidated fifth spot by thrashing Ramsey Youth Centre 9-2.
The prolific Dave Skillen led the way with a hat-trick.
Barry English and Gary Skillicorn grabbed two apiece, while Ben Cowin and John Halsall were also on the scoresheet.
The Police’s inconsistent season continued as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Foxdale.
Regular marksmen Chris Coxon and Neil Cain were on target for the home side with Paul Crellin and Connor Keenan the Foxdale scorers.
Ronaldsway produced one of their most impressive displays of the season to leapfrog Douglas and District with a 5-1 win over their opponents.
Mark Wolfenden (two), Matty Williamson, Mark Reece and Martin Priestnal were the Rockets’ scorers with James McIlhagga netting the D&D consolation.
Onchan matched that scoreline at home to bottom club Jurby – Paul Withey, Steve McIntosh, Laim Buckley, Mark Walmsley and Nuno Souza the scorers.
