Rushen MHK Quintin Gill says the Civil Service Commission is using the post-election period to award senior civil servants massive pay rises.
Mr Gill says there’s a danger the service will become a two-tier system with lowly civil servants on low wages while high-ranking posts attract huge salaries.
He’s asked a series of questions for written answer to Chief Minister Tony Brown in Tynwald.
And he says he wants Mr Brown to take action quickly:
