Peel marina scheme pictured

As proposals are prepared for a marina facility in Peel Harbour, a impression has been released of the initial vision for the project.

It is subject to change and, for instance, the boats which are moored in the passage ways north and south will not be there in the actual scheme.
It gives an idea of the proposals which includes a boat park at the upper end and pontoons which will accommodate 124 vessels.
Outside the bridge there will be an area that dries out to enable work on boats to be carried out.

This week, Commissioners, representatives of the local yacht club and others were in the Sea Terminal to hear details of the proposals,
