Cretney gets to grip with brief

The new Department of Trade and Industry Minister, David Cretney is continuing his exploration of his new portfolio as the week ends.

He is visiting Strix in Malew ( pictured) , Element 6 and Smiths Aerospace today, Friday.

Mr Cretney says he wants to see the good employment opportunities afforded by manufacturing continued. He says the Island exports quality products around the world and are fortunate have " some very clever businesses in this sector".
