A brace of goals from Chris Coxon, including a penalty, helped Police cruise past Foxdale. It was 2-0 at half-time and the other players on target were Jamie Tomlinson and Stevie Gardner.
The best performance of the round came from Ronaldsway, who are third from bottom of the division two table. They held second placed Old Boys to a 4-4 draw, after extra-time, only to go out 5-4 on penalties. The scorers for Old Boys were Sean Gavin (2), Darren Hudgson and Craig Stewart, with a penalty. Mark Wolfenden had the disappointment of hitting a hat-trick for Ronaldsway but still ending up on the losing side. The visitors took the lead through Stevie Quine, before Kevin Duggan equalised. Marown substitute James Mountain had been on the pitch for one minute when he put his side infront, but Mills came back strongly thanks to a 40 yard direct free-kick, converted by Stuart Nesbitt, and a winning goal driven home by David Thomeney.
In CFS division two Pulrose United were the only team in action, and they made good use of the chance to improve their chances of qualifying for the Paul Henry Gold Cup. An 8-1 home win over Colby was achieved thanks to goals from Dave Skillen (4), Barry English (3) and Jamie Devereau. It was 2-1 after 45 minutes and the win lifted Pulrose to fourth in the table.
