John Halligan won Sunday’s Isle of Man Cross Country Championships in Glenlough, Glen Vine on Sunday.
The Manx Harrier covered the 8,400 metres in 31.06, around a minute and a half ahead of Simon Skillicorn.
Veteran Andy Fox was third, Kevin Loundes was fourth and Gianni Epifani was fifth.
Sarah Nelson won the women’s title, with Gail Griffiths around half a minute behind. Dawn Yates was third, Bridget Kaneen fourth and Marit Zahkna fifth.
Other age group winners were Ciara Kaneen, Ryan Fairclough, Conor Delanbanque, Rachael Franklin, Nathan Pierce, Hannah Scarlett, Shaun Moore, Alice Ashe, Will Morris and Marissa Stevenson.
Ben Brand won the Short Course Non Championship Event.
