MT wins Packet contract

by isleofman.com 25th January 2007
The Steam Packet has chosen Manx Telecom to provide the hosting for its online booking service.

Sixty per cent of the company's bookings are now made via the Internet, and it says it was looking for a dependable hosting solution.

The search included Isle of Man and United Kingdom based service providers, with MT winning the contract on both service and cost.

Manx Telecom's Managing Director, Chris Hall, says his company recognises the importance of online booking to the Steam Packet and is delighted to have been chosen as its technology partner, after an extremely thorough and comprehensive evaluation programme.
