Barclays employees aim to climb Everest

From February 5th, Barclays operations department is holding a Wellbeing Week.

The timetable will feature more than 60 daytime and evening activities ranging from hip hop dance classes to a virtual climb of Mount Everest in Barclays Victoria Street, Douglas banking hall on a stepper.
Its all designed to help improve body, mind, fitness and general wellbeing as well as raise money for Barclays’ charity of the year, the Isle of Man Children’s Centre.

Organiser Andrea Nicholl says that ‘Barclays believes employees’ wellbeing is paramount in building a happy and productive team to deliver outstanding customer service".
