CIM stage tourism marketing seminar

The Chartered Institute of Marketing is staging what it terms "a unique one day event" on Thursday 1st February at the Hilton Hotel in Douglas. The day, which will start at 12.30pm, will be comprised of two key sessions, "Quality as a Competitive Edge in Tourism Marketing" and "Entrepreneurial Marketing for Small Businesses". Both presentations will be given by renowned speaker, Professor David Carson, from the University of Ulster's School of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategy. "Quality as a Competitive Edge in Tourism Marketing" will involve workshops and a presentation. The second session, "Entrepreneurial Marketing for Small Businesses" will discuss the adaptation of marketing techniques, aspects of marketing in practice, marketing competencies, network Marketing, innovative Marketing, a conceptual framework of marketing in practice and developing marketing competencies.
