Barclays’ operations department is in the middle of its Wellbeing Week.
The event involves a timetable of more than 60 daytime and evening activities, ranging from hip hop dance classes to a virtual climb of Mount Everest in the banking hall of Barclays in Victoria Street, Douglas, on a stepper - all designed to help improve body, mind, fitness and general wellbeing, as well as raise money for Barclays’ charity of the year, the Isle of Man Children’s Centre.
Organiser Andrea Nicholl said: ‘Barclays believes employees’ wellbeing is paramount in building a happy and productive team to deliver outstanding customer service.
‘Our Wellbeing Week presents some great opportunities for people to get a taster of activities they may not normally do and, of course, to raise money for our charity of the year.’
