The two top rugby sides in the Isle of Man cruised into the final of the Dorchester Atlantic Marine Manx Cup.
Vagabonds were given a walkover by Western Vikings, while Douglas put in a clinical performance to defeat Ramsey 22-0 at a very blowy Mooragh Park.
Douglas took the lead with an early penalty from stand off Lee Illott and then, using the wind wisely, they began to build their score up.
Hooker James Stamp crossed for a try on 20 minutes and, seven minutes later, Gwyn Davies bagged another, this time converted by Illott to give Douglas a 15-0 half time lead.
Ramsey had the wind in the second half and, despite enjoying the lions share of possession and territory, they were unable to trouble the scorers.
In fact, it was Douglas who picked up the only score of the second period when Illott rounded off a good day at the office with a try which he converted himself.
Douglas will now face Vagas in the April 28 final which will be held at Ramsey’s Mooragh Park pitch.
