A strike from Peter Vernon-Browne gave Bacchas B a 1-0 victory over Valkyrs B on Saturday in one of only two matches to be played in DeanWood men’s Division One.

In the other game, Vikings B and Castletown A shared four goals.

Danny Kniveton and Donald Stewart were on target for Town with Ken Carney and Ken White finding the net for newly promoted Vikings B.

In Walbrook Trustees women’s Division One, Castletown A were 5-1 winners over Ramsey A, Phoenix thrashed Castletown B 8-1 and Vikings A romped to a 9-2 win over Harlequins.
