by isleofman.com 13th February 2007
Manx Radio understands Police have charged St. Mary's Football player Lee Dixon.

The charge of Grievious Bodily Harm relates to alledged incidents at the end of the Division One game between Rushen United and St. Mary's on Saturday 18th November.

Both clubs faced an Isle of Man Football Association investigation over failing to control their spectators and players, but no action was taken.

Lee Dixon, and Rushen player Nicky Glover, have pending F.A. cases of bringing the game into disrepute to be heard, once police enquiries have been completed.

Dixon is due to appear in Court on Wednesday 28th February.
