Sports equipment for Zambia appeal

A major new appeal, which aims to help an African country's poorest communities, has been launched.

"Sports Equipment for African Children" is aiming to collect enough boots, bats, balls and much more, to fill a 44 ton lorry which will then be sent to Zambia.

National Sports Centre Manager Carl Glover is the Project Co-ordinator - he says sport has a major role to play in a society:-

You can donate sports equipment for the appeal at the National Sports Centre, the regional pools and civic ammenity sites.
