World, Commonwealth, European and British Champions are among the 46 names short-listed for the 2006 Isle of Man Sports Council Awards.
Five stars have been nominated in two categories - Cylists Mark Cavendish, Jonny Bellis and Peter Kennaugh, Rally driver Mark Higgins and Enduro rider David Knight.
Sports Council Chairman Geoff Karran says the amount of Manx success made just selecting the nominees a difficult task:-
