Lampkin fifth as Bou takes crown

by isleofman.com 27th February 2007
Onchan resident Dougie Lampkin's miserable World Indoor Trials Championship continued at the penultimate round in Spain.

Lamkin finished sixth of the seven riders in the qualifying round in Menorca having accumulated 21 penalty points.

Adam Raga qualified in third spot on just two marks, behind Toni Bou and Albert Cabestany.

Cabestany took the win, but second place for Spaniard Bou was enough to secure his first World title, at 20 years old.
