Draw for Island in latest friendly

by isleofman.com 28th February 2007
The Isle of Man National Football side's build-up for April's UEFA Regions Cup continued with a 1-1 draw against Cammell Laird last night.

The Merseysiders are currently fourth and top scorers in the Unibond First Division.

Chris Bass Junior, on his return to the Island team after injury, opened the scoring in the second half, but Kevin Manning's side were denied victory by a late penalty.

The next warm-up match for the Manx is a trip to San Marino next month.
