HSBC open new Douglas banking hall

HSBC have officially opened their new Banking Hall, on Ridgeway Street in Douglas.

Its look is radically different to the traditional hall, and is described as " state of art" in its use of self computers and IT for customer use.

Speaking at the opening was Area Manager MIke Hennessey, Regional Director London Tim Fitzpatrick, Area Director Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, Dave Hellen and Chief Minister Tony Brown who performed the official cutting of the tape
