Ramsey resident James Toseland has extended his lead at the top of the World Superbike Championship.
The 2004 champion claimed a victory and a second place at the Australian round on Sunday.
The Hannspree Honda rider had led race one but his early pace proved costly in tyre wear and with four laps to go, defending champion Troy Bayliss powered ahead to take the win.
It prompted a rethink in race two, as Toseland controlled the pace but preserved his tyres and was able to maintain his lead to the end.
He tops the standings with 90 points, ahead of Italy's Max Biaggi on 74 and Bayliss on 64.
