EuroManx underline tax take on flights.

by isleofman.com 9th March 2007
EuroManx Airlines is to charge just the cost of taxes and charges on some routes for a limited period, to " highlight the substantial third party related costs".

The $28 single fare will apply from April 17th to May 21st on some flights to Liverpool, Manchester, Belfast and London City. There are restrictions.

EuroManx CEO John Seymour says its designed to show the travelling public that 3rd party costs such as taxes and charges on fares are substantial and these costs can not be absorbed by the airlines.

The recent introduction of a 100% increase in Air Passenger Duty (APD) has not helped and it is unfortunate that the travelling public is affected by this”.
