Change of plea

The trial of a man due to start on March the 19th has been scrapped.

Andrew Paul Cooney appeared before Deemster Doyle at General Jail and changed his plea.

Cooney admitted one offence of possessing cocaine with intent to supply on September 2nd 2006.

The defendant asked for two offences of assisting another to conceal monies from drug trafficking to be taken into consideration. Those offences were committed on August 23rd.

Cooney was remanded in custody for sentence on April 30th.
