by isleofman.com 22nd March 2007
Parish Walk record holder Sean Hands will defend his title in June.

Last year, Sean smashed one of the oldest standards in the Manx sporting records book - Derek Harrison's 1979 time of 15 hours, 20 minutes and 51 seconds had taken on somewhat mythical status.

Until this happened:-

Sean Hands official time and new record of 14 hours, 47 minutes and 36 seconds.

Other top 10 walkers from last year among the 264 entries so far recieved - Sue Biggart, Eammon Harkin, Michael George, Andrew Titley and Rosemarie Crellin.
