Crunch weekend ahead

by isleofman.com 23rd March 2007
It's crunch time in Manx sport on Saturday afternoon.

In Football's F.A. Cup semi-finals, Second Division Pulrose meet Peel - the two sides clashed at the same stage last season when Pulrose pulled off a shock win. The other game is at The Bowl where St. Mary's host Division One leaders St. George's.

Douglas face a must win away game in Rugby's EuroManx South Lancashire and Cheshire Division Three. The winner of the match with Liverpool Collegiate will be odds on to join Southport in gaining promotion.

And in Hockey, Men's Division One Champions Valkyrs "A" tackle leaders Bacchas "A" with just a point seperating the teams. In the Ladies top flight, Bacchas "A" play Castletown "A" in another first against second confrontation.
