F.A. CUP FINAL MOVED

by isleofman.com 27th March 2007
This year's F.A. Cup Final between Peel and St. Mary's won't take place on Easter Monday.

The traditional date is considered to be too near to the Isle of Man representing England in the UEFA Regions Cup in the Czech Republic.

Easter Monday is the 9th April and the Manx squad begins its campaign in Prague a week later.

Up to six players likely to feature in the Final could be selected for international duty.

The likely new date for the game between Peel and St. Mary's is Sunday 6th May
