Walsh and Timmins win Peel Hill Race

James Walsh won Easter Saturday’s Peel Hill Race.

In a reversal of the Port Erin event on Good Friday, Jonathan Mellor was the runner-up, 23 seconds behind with Jo Simons third.

Locally, Richard Jamieson was 17th and Darren Gray 23rd.

Talented youngster Heather Timmins won the women’s race, 23 seconds ahead of Sarah Graham.

Gail Griffiths was the first local female home in 12th position.
