Hospital cup results

Ronaldsway won Sunday's encounter with southern rivals Colby in the Hospital Cup preliminary round.

The sides were all square at half time, but a Patrick Dempsey goal in the second period won it for the Rockets.

Ramsey also progressed to the first round, after a seven goal thriller against Foxdale at Ballacloan, which ended 4-3.

Jurby were on the receiving end of a 9-0 thumping against Michael- Jamie Moffatt (3), Chris Hancox (2) and Paul Corlett (2) were among the scorers.

Corinthians came on strong in the second half against Castletown. 'Town were still in the game at the half time interval thanks to an own goal to make it 1-1, but the visitors hit four in the final 45 minutes for a full-time score of 5-1.

The draw for the first round was made live on Manx Radio on Monday morning:
*Games marked P have been postponed due players involvement with the the Isle of Man national team in the Czech Republic. All other matches are to be played on Sunday April 22nd, 5.30pm kick off.
