Kaneen wins silver

by isleofman.com 16th April 2007
Peter Kaneen claimed a silver medal in the United Kingdom National 20k walk championships at the Warwick University campus in Coventry.

Peter paced himself on the testing 1.25km loop course and as the race progressed it was clear Peter was slightly below par, but despite this he was walking well technically and looking strong.

He moved into third place and it was only a matter of time before he reeled the second place walker who was clearly struggling.

He was rewarded for his solid effort and sensible early race pacing with a well deserved silver medal.
