Firms mull EU phones rules

There’s still doubt whether new EU rules will lower the cost of roaming with your mobile phone.

A new directive looks set to cap prices European companies can charge other operators for routing calls through their networks.

But Steve Eldridge of Cable and Wireless told Jason Roberts although the firm welcomes anything which could benefit customers, this may not apply to the Isle of Man.
