by isleofman.com 24th April 2007
After claiming his first professional win last week, T-Mobile cyclist Mark Cavendish won Sunday's Roy Killey road race.

The 21 year old is back on the Island for a week, and used the Tour of the North, the third round of the Isle of Man Road Race Series, as a break from training.

World junior champion Peter Kennaugh was second and fellow junior Warren Flynn was third.

Juvenile Chris Nicholson won the B race, with James Smettem in second and Garry Robin was third.

Cavendish will ride for Team Isle of Man in this Sunday's Rutland-Melton Classic in Leicestershire. He'll don the Manx colours alongside Graeme Hatcher, Warren Flynn, Aaron Livesey and Andy Cook. Andy Roche will also be there for Pinarello RT.
