Good weekend for Cummins

by isleofman.com 30th April 2007
Manx motorcyclist Conor Cummins again showed what a prospect he is, by claiming third sport in the feature race at the Cookstown 100 on Saturday.

The race was won by Australian Cameron Donald, and his Uel Duncan Racing team mate Keith Amor was second.

Conor, riding the Millsport Yamaha, secured a fourth in the combined Open race and two thirds in the Supersport 600. After one round, he's third in the Duke Road Race Rankings for 2007.

Meanwhile, Island resident James Toseland has extended his lead at the top of the World Superbike standings after a victory and a second place at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen.
