The Island Games Association of Mann has made a desperate plea for sponsorship after being let down over its air charter to Rhodes.
The IGAM has found other charter arrangements, but the team is facing a shortfall of thirty thousand pounds.
A team of 220 competitors and officials are due to fly to the Greek Island at the end of June.
The overall cost of sending the team is in the region of a quarter of a million pounds.
