Geordies on verge of title

by isleofman.com 9th May 2007
St. George's could be crowned Division One Champions this evening.

Chris Bass Senior's side have led the race from the opening day, and will confirm a third title in four years if they beat Gymns at Glencrutchery Road.

The silverware won't be presented this evening - it will be awarded at their final match of the season - away to nearest rivals Peel!

Old Boys will be presented with the Division Two trophy this evening at their final match against Police at Blackberry Lane.

Pulrose will secure a Gold Cup berth if they win at Foxdale.

And FA Cup winners Peel once again face St. Mary's - this time in a Hospital Cup Quarter-Final at Douglas Road/
