Kenny McKinstry and Noel Orr are the RBS International Manx Rally champions yet again.
Last year’s winners triumphed in the 2007 event by 31 seconds from Roger Duckworth and Mark Broomfield with Marcus Dodd and Andrew Bargery in third place.
George Collister and Janet Craine were the highest places locals in 12th position with Mark Cubbon and Jonathon Turnbill 13th and Steven Quine and Richard Skinner a further place behind.
Carine Walker and Danielle Matthews finished 22nd, Tony Higgins and Christina Higgins – parents of Manx drivers Mark and David (who assisted them in the pit) – were 25th, with Adrian Kermode and Liz Jordan in 27th.
There were other good local performances from Andy Leece and Graham Fargher (32nd), David Craine and Dave Rawlings (36th), Matthew Betteridge and John Tarrant (37th), Derek Boyd and David MacFadyen (38th), Ian Corkill and Richard Nelson (40th), James Quirk and Ed Kennaugh (44th), Pete and Jo Johnson (48th), David Mylchreest and Roy Sweetman (59th) and Glenn Leece and Kris Campbell (63rd).
