Neteller cards withdrawn

by isleofman.com 24th May 2007
There’s more woe for Neteller users after the company announced it was withdrawing its cashcard services.

It’s already pulled out of the US as under American law providing financial services to gamblers could be classed as money laundering.

And after two of its founders were arrested, it suspended dealing in its shares.

But now the e-wallet company says because of new rules it can no longer support the cards which can be used to withdraw money at cashpoints.

The card has users around the world who can’t now switch funds from their e-wallet to their card.

They’ve been given until May 2 to use up the cash currently on their cards.
