Ubuntu conference

The Island’s very own version of Linux, Ubuntu, is to have its first ever conference.Canonical software, based in Circular Road, Douglas, will host the three day event at the Oregon Convention Centre in America.Ubuntu Live, will be held on July 22 to 24, coinciding with the O'Reilly Open Source Convention.The conference will feature sessions and tutorials with experts as well as the company’s view on where its operating system is headed in the future.Looking at a list of attendees is like flicking througha who’s who of the IT world, with Cray Novell, Adobe and Linux International all sending speakers.
