Flybe has announced it’s the first airline in the world to introduce an aircraft eco-labelling scheme.
Under the scheme, subjected to an assurance process by Deloitte, passengers can find a detailed breakdown of the fuel consumption, carbon emissions and noise patterns of the aircraft used on their journey.
The airline says this will allow its passengers to make environmental choices when they book flights online.
And keeping in a green mood, Flybe has appointed the Clean Planet Trust to operate verifiable carbon-offset schemes for passengers.
Flyers can make donations to projects via the trust to offset their environmental impact.
