Invitation to potential new residents

Treasury Minister Allan Bell is saying to visiting bikers: 'if you’ve enjoyed visiting the TT, why not live and work here?'

Low unemployment means many companies are short of skilled staff, and Mr Bell (pictured) says some have been recruiting TT visitors.

As well as low taxes and good employment prospects, he says bike fans would also enjoy not having to pay for ferries and TT accommodation.

In return, he says Island companies could well find people to fill long-term vacancies:
