FSC warning

by isleofman.com 8th June 2007
The Financial Supervision Commission is warning people to be cautious of emails from three companies purporting to be based in the Isle of Man.

FMSinvest LTD, FMS-Fund LTD and OPFund have websites claiming they are based in Pierson House on North Quay, Douglas.

At the address is a real company, Fund Management Services Ltd, but it has no connection to the three firms in the warning.

And the FSC says it can’t find any companies with Manx links under those names.

Under the circumstances, officials say you shouldn’t have any dealings with the companies, and should contact the enforcement division if you are already in touch with any of them.
