Ramsey man Conor Cummins (pictured left), capped an impressive week with his first ever victory on the Billown circuit in Saturday’s Steam Packet Road Races.
Cummins won the nine-lap 1000cc feature event to add to his four top-eight TT finishes earlier in the week.
Cummins, who recorded a quickest lap of 108.786mph and set a new race record, was in control from the start.

Castletown’s Chris Palmer was second with Ian Lougher third.
Lougher (pictured centre) had won the opening 600cc event with Cummins second and Adrian McFarland in third place.
It was Lougher’s seventh success on the 4.25 mile circuit.
And the absolute lap record holder broke the lap record for the class in the process (audio file attached):
In the 250cc class run alongside, William Dunlop pipped Palmer on his home course by just a second with Davy Morgan a further 4.5 seconds behind in third place.
