New hospitality courses to start?

The Isle of Man's hospitality industry has made it clear it needs a steady flow of well-trained recruits.

There were concerns over how many hotels, restaurants, shops and bars would cope after the demise of the International Hotel School just before the TT.

But as the school is finally wound-up and its premises in Douglas are put on the market, the question is could a similar enterprise work in future?

Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney (pictured) says there is certainly plenty of interest in setting up new courses to service the Island's growing hospitality industry:
