Success for Cummins and Palmer

by isleofman.com 2nd July 2007
Motorcyclists Conor Cummins and Chris Palmer both had success at off-island meetings this weekend.

Cummins, who was at Athea Road Races in County Limerick, claimed wins in the Denis Murphy Memorial Cup Race and the Open Race.

Castletown's Chris Palmer was at the Cock o' the North Road Races in Scarborough.

He won the 125cc event on both days, and claimed a second and third in other races.

TT favourite Guy Martin was the man of the meeting on his Hydrex Honda winning all five of the races he entered including the feature Cock o' the North event.
