Cavendish 10th in Stage 4

Manxman Mark Cavendish (pictured) finished in a fine 10th place in today's fourth stage of the Tour de France.

The193 kilometre stage was won by New Zealander Thor Hushovd, who won a bunch sprint to take victory.

Fabian Cancellara retains the yellow jersey going into tomorrow's stage five.

After crashing out of contention in the first two stages, twenty-two year old Cavandish has had a good couple of days, having finished 9th in stage four yesterday.
