Big crowds expected at Castletown stage

The final countdown is underway for this evening's start to Rally Isle of Man.

After leaving the start ramp on Douglas Promenade from 6.45pm, competitors face three stages around Castletown and another in the St. Mark's area.

With only 14 miles covered tonight, Rally Press Officer Chris Boyd says crews can't gain much, but must guard against mistakes putting them out of contention:-
