Battle for title hots up

by isleofman.com 3rd August 2007
Standard Bank League co-leaders Castletown travel to Crosby on Saturday, where opener Simon Watson is in superb form having scored over 200 runs in the past week while only being dismissed once.

The other team at the top - St. John's are at home against a strong Ramsey side in what should be an interesting clash at Mullen-e-Cloie.

Third place Cronkbourne play bottom-of-the-table Valkyrs at King William's College.

KWC is also the venue for the Isle of Man against Barbados on Sunday.....and Vagabonds meet St. John's "B" in a Blincoe Cup semi-final starting at 11 in the morning.
