More medals for Manx cyclists

Peter Kennaugh and Christopher Whorrall have won bronze medals at the British Junior and Youth Track Championships at Newport.

Kennaugh finished third in the Junior Scratch Race behind winner Christian Lyte and Adam Blythe. He won Heat One to qualify for the final. Mark Christian finished in 6th place.

Whorrall added a bronze to his silver in the Under 16 Scratch Race the previous day. This time, he claimed a podium poistion in the Points Race behind winner Sam Harrison and Daniel McLay. Tim Kennaugh just missed out in 4th place while Chris Nicholson didn't make the final after finishing 10th in Heat Two.
