Fourth time lucky for Derek Brien

There was plenty of excitement in this afternoon's Junior Manx Grand Prix, as the race lead changed hands three times.

Eventually, three-times runner up, Irishman Derek Brien, took the chequored flag, from Swedish rider Matt Nielsen, and Andrew Neil from Northern Ireland who was third.

Last year Brien was pipped into second place by the narrowest of margins, when Craig Atkinson beat him by 1/100th of a second.

And Atkinson was on hand as Manx Radio’s Chris Kinley caught up with the winner in the pit lane at the end of today's race (audio file attached):
