Under-15 Cup matches off

by isleofman.com 14th September 2007
The shortage of referees in Manx Football has led to the postponement of all this Sunday's Under-15 Cup fixtures.

It's been a difficult start to the new season.

The first weekend was almost entirely lost to the weather.

The next Saturday saw Laxey player Neil Brogan immediately banned by the Football Association when he pushed referee Tony McMeiken to the ground after being sent-off in a match at St. George's.

And most weekends have seen Combination games switched to Sundays due to the lack of officials. Many of these have then been postponed because a club has been unable to field a team on a Sunday.
