Castletown produced an impressive display to hold CFS Division Two favourites Michael to a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Jamie Moffitt fired Michael into the lead before Ashley Sansbury earned Town an excellent point.

That result, enabled leaders Colby to move two points clear after a 4-1 home win over Braddan.

Furo Davies hit a hat-trick to continue his flying start to the season with Marty Moore grabbing the other.

David Kinrade scored the Braddan consolation.

Pulrose are up to third after going on the rampage, 6-1 at home to Marown.

An excellent first half showing did the damage with Pulrose hitting five.

A Jay Wood hat-trick, plus goals from Brian O’Riordan, the prolific Dave Skillen and Chris Caven meant Jeremy Lovett’s goal was a mere consolation.

Steve Gardner scored a double and Sam Liver was also on target as the Police won 3-1 at home to Foxdale, while Malew found form to win 8-3 at improving Jurby.

The goals were shared about for the southerners with Jack Charmer (two), Juan Kinvig (two), Mark Notman, Keith Collister, Adam Drewitt and John Kelly all finding the net.

Phil Corkill, Mark Teare and Tommy Skillicorn scored the Jurby goals.

Onchan won well away for the second successive week, 3-0 at Ronaldsway, with goals from regular scorers Jamie Carr and Mark Wolfenden (two), while Ramsey Youth Centre overcame a half-time deficit to register their first win of the season.

Goals from Martin Murphy, Andrew Booth and Matthew Boyde, Glen McGovern clinched a 4-3 win over Douglas and District, for whom James McIlhagga (two) and Richard Grant were on target.
